Paper Chair Project

During Design Tech, we constructed chairs out of newspaper to learn about forces and loads. You can see the post I made on the "Home" page if you want to know more about them. We could use as much newspaper and tape as we wanted to. I was in a group with Amelia, Eva, and Kelly. The picture on the left is our chair. We decorated the top with blue and gold duct tape and framed a cat that just happened to be on the newspaper. The legs were rolled up paper with cross beams supporting. I think our design was very successful!!!! I personally recommend this project! You can try it at home or ask one of your teachers at school to do this project!
